The AGCOK has several committees that help steer the association forward. Whether you are new to the industry or a long-time member, committee involvement is a great resource to familiarize yourself with the association and stay up to date with the industry.
Construction Leadership
The CLC is an organized forum of individuals with the purpose of exchanging ideas, fostering a strong network among peers, discussing pertinent issues, and providing feedback to the leadership of theAGC of Oklahoma. To ensure that the Oklahoma construction industry continues to prosper, an investment must be made in our young leaders. They must be encouraged to get involved in industry activities. Made up of the “next level of management,” the CLC of Oklahoma will help structure the AGC for the 21st Century.
Membership Experience
The Member Experience Committee is responsible for keeping the pulse of the AGCOK alive by identifying the needs of the membership.
Legislative Committee
The Legislative Committee reviews and monitors legislation that impacts the construction industry. We don't merely monitor the issues that affect your business; we shape and influence public policy to best represent your special interests. Whether alone or through coalitions with other powerful organizations, we lead the way on behalf of commercial construction in Oklahoma.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for identifying and recruiting eligible prospective members in the work of the chapter through meetings, letters, and personal interview. The committee reviews applications for membership before they are submitted to the Board of Directors for final approval.
Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Committee is responsible for fostering, promoting, developing and implementing programs in such a manner as to develop an adequate supply of qualified workers and promote interest in the construction careers.
